I have been procrastinating in spending time with my blog, but here I am, ready to make a commitment. There, I said it out loud. News that happened at the end of 2014; being accepted into the open juried group show through the EAFA Gallery. The Evergreen Association of Fine Arts, http://www.eafa.org/, has a gallery in the Seattle Design Center and hosts monthly exhibits in their big, warm gallery space. The show opened on November 3, 2014 and ran through Jan 1st 2015.
I was the recipient of one of the twelve awards given to artists in the show; the Holbein Art Company Sponsor Award.
“Roll On” 12″x16,” acrylic on 2″ cradled clayboard panel. SOLD.
Here I am at the opening reception in November with my two paintings that were juried into the show. The other painting in the show was “Bloodshot,” 8″x10,” acrylic on 2″ cradled panel.
It was a fun evening and I was honored to receive the award. EAFA is a great non-profit art organization.
